Bright colors and chile-light strings give away the slightly over-the-top Southwestern style that's a hallmark here. Standard Tex-Mex dishes are given surprising twists, such as in the wild mushroom quesadilla with goat cheese and caramelized onions, a butternut squash enchilada with mole rojo, and bacon-wrapped, goat cheese-filled jalapeño peppers.
