Chaat Corner Restaurant Review:
Chaat Corner serves up fresh, bright flavors in chaat --- India's answer to snacking. The stars of the lunch rush are indubitably the naan wraps. With its crackling crisp bottom and soft spongy top, naan bread slips easily into the world of wraps, and comes stuffed with lamb kebab, ground lamb, chicken or paneer cheese and slathered in mint, yogurt, grilled onions and chili. As the afternoon ends, the order-at-the-counter madness transforms into a casual table-service atmosphere. Crispy samosa starters are filled with cumin-spiked potatoes and pair with a tangy garbanzo bean-tamarind-cilantro relish. The tandoor oven sizzles up salmon filet alongside the traditional chicken. Naan is also used to soak up every last bit of roasted eggplant baingan bharta, comforting dal soup and rich curries. Watch for dine-in or take-out "family dinner" specials, and daily happy hour from 3 p.m.-6 p.m.
