The Cafe at the Frick Restaurant Review:
One of the few remaining Pittsburgh places for a proper tea is also a prime destination to take in history with a side of soup --- and a sandwich. Located on the grounds of Clayton, the Frick family estate in Point Breeze, the intimate Café at the Frick offers a menu of seasonal cuisine that changes frequently. All is house-made. The kitchen creates dishes such as mushroom Rachel sandwiches, butternut squash soup and pastas. Post-meal, stroll the grounds, visit the art museum, the car and carriage museum, or book a tour of the restored Victorian home. Watch for occasional special dinners.
