California Pizza Kitchen Restaurant Review:
In addition to creative pizzas, the menu also includes such appetizers as sesame-ginger chicken dumplings with chili-spiked soy-and-ginger sauce. The original barbecued chicken pizza endures, and a white cheese pizza may be embellished with apple wood-smoked bacon. Thin-crust pizzas come off rather like a cracker bread. Kids can arrange any toppings on their own small pizzas. Vegetarians will find much to like, and the quinoa/arugula salad should get special attention. There are grilled vegetables with diced avocado on crisp romaine (the vegetables are served warm, a curious contrast to the cold greens). Those looking for pasta may opt for Thai curry noodles. Desserts are a study in overkill, but perhaps the tiramisu is the ideal conclusion. A fairly perfunctory wine list offers some respectable quaffs, but nothing out of the ordinary. Other locations.
