Carrabba's Italian Grill Restaurant Review:
A wood-burning pizza oven and an open pasta kitchen anchor the polished yet homey Tuscan-style setting. Large windows and walls adorned with Italian art wrap around the sunny-colored dining room, making every seat in the house feel like a good one. Whether your party includes a local politician or a table of screaming kids, you’re treated as if you’re a guest in the Carrabba’s home, and you will probably catch a glimpse of the original founders at this location. When it comes to the food, count on a family trait of freshness, value and culinary skill. Don’t pass on the house salad with its famous Parmesan dressing, a great starter. For pasta, we like the pappardelle Campagnolo, wide ribbon pasta with Italian sausage, sweet pepper, caprino cheese and pomodoro; or the rigatoni alla Norma, with sautéed eggplant and ricotta cheese. Hearty steaks and chops please the meat-lovers, and adventurous diners will enjoy Carrabba’s specialties---most notably the Chicken Bryan Texas, marinated, grilled and topped with goat cheese, sun-dried tomatoes and basil butter. End with the crispy almond biscotti and a creamy cappuccino.
