Chima Steakhouse Restaurant Review:
Chima is a Brazilian-style rodizio steakhouse in a dramatic space, named for chimarrâo, an herbal tea imbibed in the south of Brazil symbolizing hospitality and friendship. Likewise, this restaurant, with its multiple dining rooms and settings including an outdoor courtyard flanked by huge banyan trees, is very welcoming. Servers, dressed as gauchos, are quick to bring cheese rolls to the table and direct diners to the salad bar with hot and cold items. Go easy on the hearts of palm salad and black bean stew. The dozen cuts of meat that are paraded around the dining room on skewers are worth your attention. Flame-grilled picanha (top sirloin cap) filet mignon, rib-eye, lamb chops, sausage, chicken and pork ribs can be eaten in unlimited quantities for the set price and are sliced to order until you say no. Save space for passion fruit mousse. The wine list is on an iPad where you can browse by country or type of wine.
