Coco Roco Restaurant Review:
Located on the heavily gentrified Fifth Avenue, this Peruvian chicken eatery ushered in an era of foodie delights in Park Slope. While the restaurant’s name may be an ode to the juicy fowl it serves up on a daily basis, there are many South American specialties on the menu that deserve a taste. Start with the choritos a la chalaca (mussels on the half shell topped with salsa criolla) before moving on to the ceviche menu. Try the ceviche mixto, served with lettuce, sweet potato and cancha. For entrées, don't neglect the tacu tacu de Mariscos --- a rice and bean risotto topped with mixed seafood and amarillo sauce.
