The Dandelion Restaurant Review:

The Dandelion is Starr Restaurants’ smart British pub, located just off Rittenhouse Square. It is a veritable warren of cozy, fire-lit rooms with upstairs and downstairs bars so authentic you'll start paying in pounds. The kitchen infuses the menu with a seasonal and locally sourced take on traditional fare, updated comfort dishes such as Cumberland sausages with mashed potatoes and onion gravy; beer-battered fish ‘n’ chips; and rabbit pie with cipollini, oyster mushrooms and grain mustard. Don't miss the mac 'n' cheese with bits of ham hock, bright with sharp English cheddar. A food-friendly beer list heavy on UK drafts includes three constantly rotating cask ales. Traditional beef roast with Yorkshire pudding is available on Sundays and "bank holidays," while afternoon tea becomes even more appealing when accompanied by a pitcher of Pimm's Cup or another potent potable. Try the sticky toffee pudding with flapjack ice cream and rum sauce for dessert.
