Delmonico's Steak and Lobster House Restaurant Review:
Once overwhelmingly dedicated to crustaceans, this longstanding Valley restaurant now splits its menu between steak and seafood. But lobster appears frequently in dishes like bisque, risotto, Thermidor and Rockefeller. Whole Maine lobster is pricey, but less than what you’ll pay at many premium steakhouses. The menu also features a host of other seafood dishes (ahi with a ginger-miso glaze, paella, horseradish-crusted halibut), plus old-school items like beef Wellington. Cocktails and fresh oysters are served at the long wooden bar, while families and couples huddle at cozy booths with a traditional steakhouse vibe. For dessert, there’s bread pudding with caramel sauce or crème brûlée. A relatively short but moderately priced wine list is featured. Weekend brunch is an all you can eat buffet highlighting prime rib, steak and lobster alongside a shellfish bar, egg station and dessert station.
