Disney's California Grill Restaurant Review:

Some of the most coveted tables are next to the panoramic windows in this restaurant high atop Disney's Contemporary Resort, where you get a bird's-eye view of the famous Magic Kingdom fireworks --- they even dim the lights and pipe in the accompanying music. But there's a show in the open kitchen, too, where the team creates the dishes. Start with one of the wood-fired oven-baked flatbreads, pristine sushi or Sonoma goat cheese ravioli. And try the crispy lacquered pork belly nigiri, house-cured, braised, smoked and then grilled to get a sweet teriyaki-style glaze. Otherwise, the menu is seasonal and you'll always find a vegetarian dish, jumbo scallops and fish creations, and an oak-fired beef filet paired with farm-fresh vegetables. If you're not counting calories, end with a selection of cheeses (they change frequently) or the warm banana stuffed cinnamon fritters. Wines are an array of California's finest, and this is the only restaurant we know where every single vintage is available by the glass.
