El Colmado Restaurant Review:
Seamus Mullen made a name for himself first at Boqueria and then at his very own Tertulia in the West Village. His next offering, located inside the Gotham West Market in Hell’s Kitchen, is El Colmado, translated as the “grocery store.” With counter seating overlooking the chefs, the restaurant offers everything from Iberian snacks to classic tapas to full meals. Start with a grilled head-on langoustine or a cheese-filled, bacon-wrapped date, and then move on to eel-stuffed croquettes and smoked cod deviled eggs. There’s a slightly pricey wine list --- most of it hailing from Spain --- to wash it all down.
