El Patio Argentine Restaurant Restaurant Review:
Relocated to larger quarters, El Patio continues to offer authentic Argentinean dishes. Whether you are stopping by for lunch or dinner, be sure to include with your meal one or several of the flavor-packed empanadas; especially tasty are the beef with olives and the chicken with green peppers. Moving on to the main course, the lunch menu stars Spanish omelets, sandwiches, and larger dishes such as spinach or beef canneloni or sautéed flank steak with sausage and jalapeños. There are even Argentinean-style grilled meats on call. Dinnertime offerings resemble those at lunch, but with several cold-plate options and a larger selection of pastas. You can skip the desserts and head to the baked goods case, where such Argentinean favorites as flan, ricotta cheesecake and alfajores, the famous shortbread cookies layered with dulce de leche, beckon. Take a moment before you leave to browse the mini grocery section, where you will find assorted Argentinean foods, including several dulce de leche choices. Check out the list of Argentinean wines, too.
