Let’s get this straight. If we are talking about some of the best fries in town, then you’ll find them here. They’re made from scratch each day and you’ll find sacks of potatoes as proof, and a sign telling you where they were grown (perhaps Presque Isle, Maine, for instance). Hot, crispy, and salty yet sweet, the fries are truly addictive and the small size order just won’t do. What else is on the menu? Not much besides burgers, the other dish that has made this local restaurant group famous, unless you want a hot dog. Hamburgers come plain, with cheese, with bacon and with both. While you wait, listen to the loud tunes and shell and munch on peanuts stashed in the waiting area. The décor is not much to look at, but if you want good burgers and terrific fries, Five Guys is your place. Other locations.
