Fralo's Art of Pizza Restaurant Review:
Fralo's has been known to supplement its limited indoor seating with a tent, but we nevertheless suggest take-out in winter. In balmier weather, live oak trees provide ample shade, and picnic tables suggest endless summer. Start with an unusual appetizer of duck drumsticks or the tomato and basil bruschetta, then contemplate ordering a pizza on the order of the Pozzi with Alfredo sauce, potatoes, bacon and smoked provolone, or Grant’s Pear with olive oil, Gorgonzola and prosciutto. Crust options include whole-wheat, quinoa and gluten-free. Some pastas, such as the rigatoni, can be served with a choice of sauces; we prefer the caprese salad (in season) over the house version with raspberry dressing. There is wine and beer, too. The locally baked apple pie is what Mom might have made given the time.
