General Warren Inne Restaurant Review:

Travel back in time at the General Warren Inne, home to classic and modern American fare in an historic setting dating back to 1745. Owned by William Penn’s grandson, John, during the American Revolution, the inn was a popular stage stop on the road between Philadelphia and Lancaster. Still a respite for weary and hungry travelers, the inn (with eight guest rooms) puts the emphasis on American standards such as steak, chops, rack of lamb and even beef Wellington. Tableside presentation is a specialty with dishes such as Châteaubriand for two, steak au poivre and a Caesar salad. Start with a traditional appetizers: snapper soup or the decidedly modern vegan spring rolls. Vegetarian options make this a destination for all types of eaters.
