Goode Co. Barbeque Restaurant Review:
While the original outpost of Goode Co. Barbeque is filled with rustic Texana charm, this second branch exudes cow palace grandeur, making it a good place to give out-of-towners a real taste of Texas. You'll find the same fine mesquite-smoked barbecue that has made the original so popular. We recommend the tender beef brisket as well as the lean pork ribs, chicken and honey-smoked ham. Round out the meal with the Austin baked beans, smoky and sweetened with big chunks of tender apples, or the spicy jalapeño cheese bread. Follow with the famous gooey pecan pie. If you're in the mood for libations, the joint serves beer and a limited American wine list.
