Graziano’s Restaurant Review:
Family patriarch Mario Graziano established a butcher shop in Buenos Aries in 1962 and opened his first Miami location in 1990, taking over an old cafeteria. His grandsons now run three other locations. Graziano’s is a parrillada, or Argentine steakhouse serving asado, a type of barbecue with meats cooked on a parrilla (grill) over hardwood coals. Most diners start with grilled provolone and sausages before moving on to the main event. This includes a choice of fresh fish, giant prawns, free-range chicken, pork and lamb as well as bone-in “gaucho” rib-eye, Angus tenderloin tips and tiras de asado (Argentine-style short ribs). Sides include grilled Brussels sprouts with pancetta and porcini risotto. Dulce de leche panqueque (crêpes) are super sweet with a touch of orange liqueur. The wine list features vintages from Italy, Spain and South America, with some real bargains, especially among the over 200 Argentinean bottles.
