Happy Hound Restaurant Review:
Los Gatos Boulevard has its share of fast-food chains, but none of them can claim a place in locals' hearts like Happy Hound, best known for its plump dogs, which are served from plain to absolutely smothered with cheese, chili, onions and relish. Juicy third-pound burgers, however, are at least as good. An order of french fries is a must --- more than two pounds of spuds easily feed the entire table. Make sure to order a thick, rich vanilla milkshake to wash it all down. Parking is relatively easy, but once you’re inside, this doghouse gets pretty cramped. Go early (10:30 a.m.) or late to fight the crowds. Happy Hound closes at 9 p.m., 9:30 p.m. on Saturdays.
