Hugo's Frog Bar & Fish House Restaurant Review:
The best seafood houses are those that are the busiest. Always packed to the hilt, Hugo's fits the bill. The seafood here could not be fresher or better cooked. There is no compromise on quality, and with a broad selection of seafood (and plenty of Gibsons’ steaks, too) along with professional service, it has cachet. From the bar on the right with a piano bar on through to the three dining rooms to the left of the greeting podium, Hugo's is a scene to see. Booths and tables (cloth-covered) are elbow-close and filled with folks noshing on football-size lobster tails with drawn butter, king crab legs and frogs’ legs drenched with garlic butter sauce. The wine list has more than 200 choices, so you will not be left high and dry. Food is served in the bar, which stays open until 2 a.m. Also located at 55 S. Main St., Naperville, 630-548-3764; and the Rivers Casino, 3000 S. River Rd., Des Plaines, 888-307-0777.
