Jazz A Louisiana Kitchen offers authentic Cajun cuisine in a midtown space with a rustic interior that takes you to the heart of the French Quarter with planked floors, live music and a lobster tank. Daily specials follow the Louisiana theme, like Topless Thursdays offering oysters on the half shell. Favorite entrées include stuffed catfish, scallop and shrimp scampi, and the seafood platter --- fried clams, shrimp, catfish and oysters served with Cajun coleslaw and hushpuppies. There are a variety of desserts including “Jazzy” bread pudding, two types of beignets, Key lime pie, cheesecake, chocolate cake and, of course, Kentucky bourbon pecan pie.
