When the locals crave some old-fashioned comfort food, they often head to Kathleen's. The dining room has a modern yet homey design, where regulars enjoy hearty breakfasts (e.g. omelets, Belgian waffles topped with fresh seasonal fruit) accompanied by addictive pumpkin-walnut bread. Lunch offerings include pastas, kebabs, omelets, quiches, oversize salads, sandwiches and burgers, and some Mexican specialties as well. At dinner, choices are a bit more ambitious, reflected by citrus chicken, steaks and fettuccine with shrimp and scallops.
