Katsuhama Restaurant Review:

Part of the happy chain that includes Menchanko-Tei and Ony, Katsuhama specializes in that Japanese comfort food known as katsu. Pork, chicken, prawns, scallops and fish are coated in finely crushed breadcrumbs and fried; add rice, pickled ginger and katsu sauce and you have the Japanese version of fried chicken and mashed potatoes. Except Katsuhama uses free-range birds and high-grade pork tenderloin. You can get a complete lunch with miso soup, pickled cabbage, pork cutlet and a bowl of rice for $13. Complement your food with saké or another libation. End the meal with ice cream in flavors of green tea or red bean.
