Katsuya Hollywood Restaurant Review:
About the restaurant: Master sushi chef Katsuya Uechi and designer Philippe Starck continue their collaboration with Katsuya Hollywood. Guests enter to find a bar area featuring an array of sushi knives suspended in blocks of clear resin pedestals and a blazing red kimono suspended above. Oversize, glowing photos of a Japanese geisha look down on diners from the restaurant's walls.
Food & Drinks: Custom rolls and sushi and sashimi platters are specialties. There’s an omakase menu, too, and mains include a sizzling Wagyu rib-eye steak, Jidori chicken, and buttermilk fried striped bass.
