The Kitchen Restaurant Review:
Formerly an A-frame house, The Kitchen provides a modern ambiance in a clean and simplistic space with natural wood. An open-style kitchen allows diners to see their meal being prepared and the outdoor patio is nice for warmer evenings. Expect to find an American menu that leans Asian with starters like house-cured Skuna Bay salmon with chile oil, bowfin caviar and micro greens. The crudo bar includes New Zealand king salmon with extra virgin olive oil, smoked sea salt, goat cheese and crumbled bacon. Among the entrées, pan-seared New Zealand red deer is served with shiitake mushrooms, sherried cherries, cream sherry reduction and pearled barley. A beer and wine list is available in addition to a full bar.
