LAMILL Coffee Boutique Restaurant Review:
It's all about the coffee at LAMILL, and you can choose among beans from more than half a dozen places of origin. But there's so much more to this stylish gem. Chef Michael Cimarusti of Providence created a menu of creative yet casual food --- everything from a creamy mushroom soup to an Asian BLT with pork belly and a black bean spread. Coffee drinks, which include a crème brûlée cappuccino, offer exciting new flavors that help set this place apart from all others. Tea lovers are well-cared for too: try the non-alcoholic "mojito," refreshing with its sprig of fresh mint muddled with limes and splashed with club soda and simple syrup. Come by early in the morning for a latte and a pastry, or relax over breakfast. Enjoy lunch or dinner, or sit at the counter and plug in your laptop while you sip an espresso or two. A wine list is available as well, with worldwide selections. The décor is as unique as the food and beverage --- a massive space with clean lines; chairs covered in faux ostrich, shark and crocodile; and an enormous brass chandelier.
