La Provence Biscayne Restaurant Review:
Most regular upscale restaurant-goers in Miami already like La Provence's breads, whether they know it or not; if a bread basket's baguettes are properly crunchy outside, and tender but toothy (rather than cottony-soft) inside, the eatery may have gotten them here. Pastries, from a complex mini-opera cake to a truly tart lemon tart, are also reminiscent of a Parisian pâtisserie. The place's café component isn't as well known, but items like a salade niçoise or a pan bagnat (tuna salad on a crusty baguette) taste authentic; they may be a buck or two more than some cafés' fare, but still, cheaper than a plane ticket to Paris.
