Leeann Chin Restaurant Review:

Cream cheese wontons? Is that right? The debate over whether this Midwest guilty pleasure is right or wrong is long abandoned as are any qualms we have about Leeann Chin's authenticity. When we want authentic Chinese we go to Rainbow or Shuang Cheng, but when we want Chinese-style fast-food we go to Leeann Chin. And, yes, the cream cheese wontons---crispy dumplings puffed with cream cheese and dipped in sweet-and-sour sauce---are delicious. Among entrées, we’ve always been partial to the orange chicken; the sweetness of the candied orange peels nicely offsets the hot chili peppers in the sauce. We can never complain about the restaurant’s bright, cheerful interior and generally helpful staff either.
