Lemonade Restaurant Review:

Alan Jackson’s modern cafeteria is known for its colorful design and hearty California "comfort food." Lemonade has other outposts around Southern California and beyond, and its Toluca Lake location is inside a Googie-esque building with a grey façade and yellow-topped patio. White containers hold rotating soups, braises, sandwiches, salads, sides and entrées. Options might include lemongrass chicken, lentil eggplant stew or orecchiette with tomato and perline mozzarella. Lemonade packs a pastry case, too. Choose from eight kinds of lemonade; think cucumber mint, pomegranate or blood orange, all limited to fresh fruit, water and sugar.
