Little Tree Sushi Bar Restaurant Review:
Little Tree Sushi Bar offers a variety of dishes hailing from Thailand, Japan and the Philippines. That means sushi, sashimi and seven types of noodles, among other selections. We suggest the airy tempura and a cast-iron pot of nabeyaki udon --- chicken, vegetables, shiitake mushrooms, egg and toothsome noodles finished with shrimp tempura, green onions and seaweed. Or take a trip to Thailand via tom yum, hot-sour tamarind soup with either chicken or shrimp, or eggplant stir-fried in spicy sauce with chicken, beef, seafood or tofu. Then again, you could always indulge in Filipino-style spring rolls; scallops, squid and salmon sautéed in red curry; chicken and pork adobo, a simmered stew laced with onions; or garlic fried rice anointed with two over-easy eggs and your choice of pork, marinated beef, shrimp or chicken. The pleasant space features a high ceiling with exposed duct-work, bulbous paper lanterns, bare-topped tables and booths along the walls. The sidewalk café adds another option, while the bar proposes a good selection of saké and beer in addition to standard cocktails and wines.
