Lola’s makeover brings a Mediterranean and Middle Eastern flair to Great Neck.
Lola Restaurant Review:
Lola has undergone at least two makeovers to date; the most recent sees chef Michael Ginor bringing his talents to Mediterranean and Middle Eastern fare, with delectable mezzes like Moroccan spiced carrots, baba ghanouj and hummus accompanied by house-made pita bread, as well as more substantial mains such as whole grilled branzino and lamb kofta. One holdover from the more European menu of the past is the foie gras appetizer. Décor from the old incarnation remains, with sophisticated red leather chairs and an exposed brick wall.
