Luau Kalamaku Restaurant Review:
Luau Kalamaku takes place on a historic sugar plantation that was owned by Gaylord Parke Wilcox and his family. Before the luau, guests have the option of taking a train ride around the plantation (included with upgraded ticket), playing traditional Hawaiian games, or browsing through locally made products. A conch shell then calls guests to the imu ceremony and an all-you-can-eat buffet featuring items such as roasted kalua pork, lomi lomi salmon, coconut pudding and pineapple upside-down cake. The entertainment is especially lively, with Tahitian hula, fire dancers and an open bar.
