McCormick & Schmick's Restaurant Review:
This branch of the West Coast seafood chain appeals to tourists and locals alike, who gather for some of the cheapest happy hour bites in town. Snack on bruschetta, a cheeseburger, buffalo wings and coconut shrimp and you won't want dinner. In the dining room, waitstaff deliver dishes with pomp --- the formulaic steakhouse routine suits the place, as does a menu printed daily to accommodate the catch of the day. Start off with crispy buttermilk fried oysters before moving on to a sashimi combination platter or lobster Cobb tower. Seafood specialties are best paired up with a crisp glass of Pinot Grigio and include some unique finds. There is also a good selection of steaks and poultry, including a 20-ounce bone-in rib-eye and blackened chicken fettuccine. The twice-baked upside-down apple pie with a candied walnut crust, warm caramel sauce and cinnamon ice cream should not be missed.
