McCormick & Schmick's Restaurant Review:
One of Restons hottest meet-and-greet spots, this upscale national seafood restaurant is rarely uncrowded. Even the very long oval bar with plenty of stools is usually packed, especially after work and on weekends. To solve the wait problem, the restaurant takes reservations in the main dining rooms. Seating includes private dining areas enclosed by velvet drapes, the ultimate in privacy. The restaurants seafood menu changes twice daily---for lunch and dinner---and offerings depend on the freshest catch. Look for some unusual fish varieties, like South African swordfish or Louisiana black drum, plus succulent oysters and clams. Also on the lunch menu: pastas and entrée salads. Despite the menu changes, several core items remain, such as the cedar-planked salmon and the restaurants signature dessert, a Jakes Famouse Chocolate Truffle Cake. Other locations.
