The Melting Pot Restaurant Review:
Reston’s upscale fondue restaurant takes a bit of getting used to. The Melting Pot is a nighttime-only destination, and with good reason: forking through the cheese, meat, and then the chocolate fondue takes time, and lots of it---no dine and dash here. For starters, consider one of the classic or more exotic cheese dips, sided by vegetables, breads and chips for dipping. All this can include a salad as the second course, or you can skip right to the entrées, which means you select a raw meat or seafood platter for cooking at the table in a seasoned broth. Be sure to save room for the killer dark chocolate fondue (other chocolate combinations are available), which offers patrons a chance to enjoy chocolate over berries, bars and even marshmallows.
