Tasty global vegetarian fare is the focus at Mi Lah, a cozy two-level spot in Center City's theater district. Dishes include yucca root tart stuffed with seitan; crispy tofu over edamame; and grilled jerk seitan skewers with mango jalapeño couscous. Influences range from Asian to African, with a sprightly use of fresh herbs and some local ingredients. The upstairs dining room, away from the busy open kitchen, is more intimate.
