Minh Anh Restaurant Review:

This family-run eatery on the near west side is known for its authenticity, consistent quality and fair pricing. The lengthy menu features everything from frogs’ legs to chicken curry. Standouts include cinnamon rare beef with beef ball soup; small, smooth-textured meatballs; and rice noodles (be sure to add some of the hot chili paste that comes to the table). Tofu with ginger, mushrooms and peanuts, and chicken with lemon grass are available, too. Other highlights are house-made soups (try the pho) --- easily some of the best in the city --- with layers of flavor that unfold with each sip. While there’s a large dining room for those who want the full experience, you also can view the menu online and call ahead for take-out.
