Mint Modern Bistro & Bar Restaurant Review:
From the moment one enters Mint Modern Bistro & Bar’s ultra-contemporary interior, it’s apparent that this isn’t an average Vietnamese eatery. Even with the proliferation of Vietnamese restaurants in New Orleans, this place may be the only one that’s as popular for its bar as it is for its cuisine. If you are dining, be prepared for lots of noise and foot traffic around your table, since the bar is situated in the same space. Pho brisket and lemongrass chicken vermicelli will make you forget the surrounding chaos, but only after you have indulged in the singularly addictive bacon and crab Rangoon. Or you may want to opt for avocado rolls and a kimchi burger. Best of all, everything on the menu is $10 or less. Wines are available, but limited. For dessert, consider mini waffles and green tea ice cream.
