It's hard to miss this Korean restaurant with its glittery sign of decoratively arranged stones backing its name illuminated in bold letters. The interior, however, is decidedly more subtle, revealing a stone garden-like setting and Korean earthenware, brassware and glassware on display. The menu features kimchi and spicy pickled radish, and a variety of delicate handmade mandu (dumplings) as well as good barbecue meats like the classic kalbi, short ribs marinated for two days in a clay pot. Chef specials include agwijjim, a spicy monkfish with bean sprouts and watercress, and yukhoe, a Korean version of steak tartare, sliced frozen and seasoned with salt, garlic and sesame oil. Wash it all down with a Korean beer or two.
