The Morrison Restaurant Review:
There’s more rock ‘n’ roll than bagpipes at this stylish Scottish-inspired gastropub, but locals like to gather amid the burgundy and tartan walls, stamped-tin ceilings, and a few romantic oil paintings of the Highlands. A long, sleek wooden bar turns out classic cocktails such as an Old Fashioned or Manhattan. But connoisseurs favor the lengthy single malt list (out of dozens of whiskeys) and the draft beers that range from obscure brews to local lagers and dark stouts. The pub food that soaks it up is solid, particularly the several burger variations. Other fare with a modern twist includes cod ‘n’ chips, mac & cheese and fries topped with cheese and homemade bacon and onion jam. End things on a sweet note with brioche bread pudding with whiskey sauce.
