Mupu Grill Restaurant Review:

Located in a century-old historic building, the Mupu Grill celebrates the Heritage Valley with regional ingredients. Tomatoes and avocado don’t travel far to be turned into house-made guacamole or Fillmore tomato salads. Though the menu shifts seasonally, you’ll find a mix of fresh California fare and classic American comfort food year-round. Chef Mike Hickerson works Southwestern flavors into many dishes: chipotle chile peppers find their way into barbecue sauces and a pesto mayonnaise that's used on several sandwiches. Hickerson teams up with his wife, Laurie, who manages the eatery and makes fresh desserts. She also brings in unique recipes such as her grandmother’s favorite meatloaf, made with a wine glaze and served with mashed potatoes.
