Nada Restaurant Review:
Cincinnati always wanted its own upscale, Rick Bayless-style taco joint, and Nada is about as good as it gets on that front. It has outdoor seating in the city's theater district, lots of people-watching and a vibrant atmosphere. Nada is touted for its margaritas and small plates, but there are also oyster shooters for an appetizer; pork belly tacos and carnitas (braised pork) tacos ala diabla (spicy); and lamb mole in an iron pot. Chips and salsa cost extra, and you can be prepared for those small plates to be a little pricey, too. Margarita varieties range from prickly pear to pink grapefruit and the "Nadarita" with tequila, triple sec, lime juice and honey, the house specialty. Among desserts is a chocolate torte with bananas Foster gelato. The food is good, but this place is really more about atmosphere: loud, colorful and a little full of itself.
