A Raleigh fixture for decades, Neomonde produces Lebanese specialties for takeout or eat in. Pita bread, made daily, is the basis for the sandwiches, including roasted chicken salad and the healthy hummus/tabbouleh. Other dishes, from the baba ghanouj to kebabs of all sorts, are so good you'll probably want to try three or four of them on a sampler platter. For a carb-free meal, go for the kebab salad. Vegetarians will find a variety of meatless dishes including a tasty spinach and feta pie. Treat yourself to desserts: flaky baklava, cashew-crusted ladyfingers and date mamouls.
