New York Bagel Company Restaurant Review:
On weekend mornings, this place is Brentwood yuppie central. A metal sculpture of the Chrysler Building hangs from the ceiling. In addition to bialys and bagel twists, there are 15 varieties of bagels, including pumpernickel, egg and cinnamon raisin. The Nova Scotia lox sandwich and whitefish sandwich are popular. There’s also heartier fare --- think challah french toast with bacon, corned beef hash and greasy chorizo with eggs. If you seek dessert, we recommend the house-made carrot cake.
