About the restaurant: Olive & Ivy from restaurant maven Sam Fox is a bustling Mediterranean neighborhood market, casual café and sit-down restaurant all in one. There’s also a bakery, wine center, coffee bar and gelateria.

Food & Drinks: That means you can start the day with blueberry french toast slathered in whipped crème fraîche, then come back for a lunch of prosciutto-manchego flatbread, curried chicken salad or the braised short rib sandwich. Dinner might be diver scallops with hazelnut brown butter, chicken and dumplings, or roasted duck breast with stewed lentils, sweet pork hash and orange-carrot reduction. But be wary: With so much going on, the cooking is hit-or-miss. Many folks are here more for the fashionable people-watching than the food, but there’s no denying that the vibe is completely delicious.
