Overton's Restaurant Review:

Dining al fresco by the water need not cost an arm and a leg. A "seaside shack," open seasonally from mid-March through November, Overton's is the ideal spot for a casual family outing, offering open-air cafeteria-style bench seating and not much else. But if food by the water is what is on the agenda, look no further. Relax and take in the views of Norwalk harbor all around you while eating hot dogs with chili, bacon, cheese and onions or hamburgers with as many topping options, and a plethora of seafood rolls. Fish and seafood ranges from scallops and shrimp to clam strips and bellies in your choice of a sandwich or in a container, with an array of dipping sauces. Ice creams in vanilla, chocolate and combination swirl varieties provide a simple but comforting sweet finish.
