P.F. Chang's China Bistro Restaurant Review:
Chinese cuisine is the inspiration behind the cooking at P.F. Chang's China Bistro. A nod toward healthy fare is reflected in some of the options, including the offer of brown rice instead of white. Crescent-shaped dumplings filled with ground pork or vegetables may be either pan-fried or steamed, and there’s a whole page of gluten-free choices. Plus, the kitchen will make adjustments to dishes to accommodate dietary needs. We like the ginger-steamed salmon served with bok choy, asparagus, tomatoes and shiitake mushrooms. Numerous vegetarian offerings are marked with a Chinese character. Some dishes reflect the spicy current in Chinese cuisine, such as the coconut curry vegetables and dishes drawn from the Szechuan tradition. Made-from-scratch soups are of the usual sort and the desserts, although tasty, seem out of touch with the rest of the menu. The improved wine list offers half-glass pours and has wines that are Asian-fare friendly, such as Riesling, a Gewürztraminer and the King Estate Pinot Gris. This location is near Perimeter Mall.
