P.F. Chang's China Bistro Restaurant Review:
This Summerlin outpost of the national chain attracts the upscale yuppies and seniors who live in the neighborhood. P.F. Chang's traditional statue of a majestic horse graces the way to its front door. It has modern surroundings, nice wines by the glass and good Chinese food. Chicken wrapped in lettuce leaves is a favorite starter, as are Chang's wok-seared spare ribs and the seared ahi salad with yucca, crushed wasabi peas and mixed greens drizzled with sesame vinaigrette. Among traditions are almond and cashew chicken stir-fried with bell peppers, onions and mushrooms in a garlic-soy sauce. We like the tea-marinated sea bass with sweet ginger soy sauce and spinach. Try the stir-fried Singaporean street noodles --- vermicelli rice noodles mixed with chicken breast, shrimp, cabbage, scallions and tomatoes tossed in a light Singapore-style curry sauce. For dessert, the banana spring rolls with coconut-pineapple ice cream and the Great Wall of Chocolate are legendary. Reservations are accepted for eight or more at the Captain's Table.
