The Paris Restaurant Review:
This quaint bistro is located in an historic section of Salt Lake City and named after The Paris Department Store that provided "good value and fair prices" for more than 100 years. The menu offers contemporary renditions of French standards such as pan-seared duck breast with a morel mushroom reduction, and bouillabaisse "Américaine," a stew of seasonal fish, shellfish, saffron and a rouille crouton. The owner instituted a nightly prix-fixe special that costs about $15 for three courses. Not only is it a bargain, but it's also quite an authentic touch. Wine pairings are available, too.
