Pat's King of Steaks Restaurant Review:

This iconic spot for cheesesteaks in South Philly is allegedly the place where the Philadelphia sandwich was first invented. Neighborhood locals and limousines queue up for the opportunity to eat greasy, shredded fried steak, covered with Cheese Whiz or provolone and fried onions and peppers, and then piled onto an Italian roll. You get no respect from the surly staff --- especially if you are slow to order --- but chances are you will like it and come back for more.
