The Pavilion Restaurant Review:
Formerly the home of Luna Park in Union Square, the rural, open-air space is now occupied by The Pavilion. Simon Oren (5 Napkin Burger) took over the locale, appointing Mario Urgiles as head chef. On the menu: salmon pot au feu served with onions, carrots and tomatoes that are likely procured from the nearby farmers market; an omelet with asparagus and goat cheese for brunch; fresh mint lemonade and colorful cocktails.
